Hello there!

"EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED.

IN AND OUT AND ALL AROUND"

NURSE CONSULTANT

Abi is all about Holistic Care.

In the mainstream health service, specialists and healthcare providers don't talk to each other. Each of them treats only the little bit of your issue that is relevant to their field, Someone treats your womb, someone else your back pain, someone else your anxiety, someone else your bladder or your gut symptoms... And you end up with 5 different appointments and medical teams treating related issues as if they were separated from each other.

On top of that lack of holistic care, the western medicine system lacks the time to assess and listen to their patients as a whole, as well as the skills and knowledge to make sense of many musculoskeletal issues.

In order to receive the right guidance and support you need to be seen as a WHOLE.

Your mind, emotions and body.

Your different body parts and systems.

Your different symptoms and complaints.

You cannot receive high quality and efficient care if each professional is treating a little bit of you without even acknowledging that something else is not working.

BECAUSE YOUR BODY WORKS AS ONE. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED. IN AND OUT AND ALL AROUND.

Based on her 20+ years as a healthcare professional, on her vast experience with thousands of clients and patients, on her knowledge as well as her personal experience, Abi has developed some core beliefs that shape her practice:

  • Every part and system is connected and linked to the rest of your body. A head-to-toe approach is a must when working with the human body.

  • The Nervous System is the boss and nothing in the physical body can be fixed long-term without using a method that treats the brain and the nervous system.

  • The Nervous System is the boss and nothing in the physical body can be fixed long-term without using a method that treats the brain and the nervous system.

  • Everybody and every body is different and unique. A "one size fits all" approach is NOT good enough. When asking for support from a health care professional, everyone deserves to be seen as a unique, complex being who is seen, heard and deeply understood within their particular beliefs, experiences and circumstances.

  • The female body is complex and requires to be honoured and treated differently from the male body. This includes, not only the anatomical differences but also the mind processes and the hormonal fluctuations.

  • Working on the core system and the breathing mechanics is essential to heal any musculoskeletal pain. This includes the pelvic floor and any scars present in the chest or the abdomen.

  • You cannot heal the physical body without taking into account the mind, the emotions and the energy. The body always feels and remembers more than your conscious mind.

  • Physical healing requires an intimate and deep relationship with your body. This requires being able to understand, be present, feel, love and accept your physical experiences without judgement. Fighting, resenting or loathing your body, or seeing it as the enemy, will never lead to healing.
Health is not a fling. it is a life-long relationship that requires daily commitment.

  • Your body has a self-healing ability. This can be accessed by working on the stressors that prevent the nervous system from working optimally, whether physical, mental, emotional or hormonal.

  • Your body is constantly communicating to you how it feels about your internal and external world. Pain and illness is simply the way in which your body communicates that something is not working for you and changes need to be made. The intensity of your experience is simply the intensity in which your body is screaming for help. The more you ignore it, the more it will scream by creating further issues.

  • Anyone can recover full health.

Training, Credentials and Career

BSc Nursing (children and adults)

Cert. Holistic Massage

Cert. Sports and Remedial Massage

Cert. Pregnancy and Postnatal Pelvic Floor Advanced Practitioner

Cert. Peri-menopause Wellness Instructor

Daughter of a passionate nurse, Abi was an amazing role play nurse, delivering babies, stitching episiotomies and massaging new mums, since the age of 5.

She wanted to become a nurse, a midwife, work with babies, with mums, be a teacher and a physio.
Nursing opened her all the doors to achieve that!

She completed her Bachelors Science Degree in Nursing in Spain,

where she qualified as both, adults and children's nurse.

As part of her combined degree, Abi also studied Osteopathy and Manual Therapies,

where she gained skills and experience in sacro-craneal techniques and pelvic manipulations for new mums among others.

Maternal Health, Neonatal Health, Sexual Health and Women's Health and Women's Mental Health

were the areas where she chose to invest more credits during the last 2 years of her degree and

thanks to her excellent performance, she was granted individual mentoring and participation in research,

as well as the opportunity to volunteer as a community health coach.

After finishing uni, while working full time as a Health Visitor, she initiated her studies to become a Midwife,

which were interrupted due to the European Debt Crisis and the Great Recession in Europe.

Being pushed to leave her homeland to find a secure job, was the biggest blessing of all,

as this is when her personal healing journey started.

By the time she left Spain she was under the care of 5 different consultants,

taking 19 tablets a day for pain management and struggling with

chronic pain due to Fibromialgia, incontinence, diagnosed depression and

a bunch of symptoms due to hormonal imbalance.

After living and working in the United States, Belgium and Germany, she moved to the UK,

with the desire to settle down and develop her career in maternity services further and train in manual therapies.

Her mind was full of goals, but her body was keeping the score and broke down.

Suffering from chronic pelvic pain, lower back pain and sciatica alongside brain fog and constant fatigue,

she needed solutions, but this time was determined to use her own background and

learn how to heal her own body in a holistic way. For good.

She went back to therapy too, where was diagnosed with PTSD and Anxiety.
Learning about trauma and about the undeniable link between mind and body was essential to guide her journey.

Guided by her own symptoms, her patients needs and her intuition,

she decided to break free from the idea that a good professional has to find a niche or specialise in a specific field.

Instead, she looked for answers, everywhere, broadening and broadening her sight of the human body

instead of narrowing it down.

She needed something that no one else was offering and she became it.

This approach gave her the tools to help others that are also being failed by the conventional health system.

She certified in the highest levels of Remedial, Sports and also Holistic Massage, specialising in Myofascial and remedial work and receiving training in neuromuscular rehabilitation, Pelvic Health, pelvic floor rehabilitation and core restore techniques.

In order to expand her core qualifications and knowledge, over the years she has added more than 10,000+ hours of education to her portfolio, both in and out of the NHS, constantly broadening her knowledge and skills and working with some of the most renowned international professionals all over the world, including chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, doctors, nurses, body workers, breath workers, yoga teachers, acupuncturists, podiatrists, sports therapists, health coaches, psychologists, fitness coaches, energy workers...
Maintaining this open-mind approach to health, following her internal believe that systems cannot be separated, she managed to create her very own holistic, head-to-toe, in-and-out style, blending hundreds of different techniques and tools in her very own successful system.

Moving to West Wales and seeking a peaceful life in the countryside, was one of the most important steps in her healing journey,

and where her spiritual and emotional healing started.

Being able to connect to herself at a deeper level also allowed her to develop her professional skills as an energy healer further.

Her business grew so fast, so quickly, that she decided to leave her regular nursing job, to only serve those that she could not help as part of the standarised NHS.

Since then, she continues to help hundreds of women in her practice in all stages of life.

Abi also has an extensive interest in learning about the psychology, human relationships, the mind, the brain, self-improvement, spirituality and ultimately living in alignment with her true purpose.

She currently lives in West Wales with her 4 dogs, focused on her well-being, mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health,

She continues to give to the community through pro-bono work, is part of 3 different mentoring programmes to ensure she only delivers the best and is currently undertaking studies in different energy healing techniques to help release trauma off the body
